Food Loss and Waste Workshop – Introduction

FreeFood loss and waste hurts us all. Our community, economy and the environment all suffer as over 30 percent of all food in the United States goes to waste every year.
The goal of this food loss and waste (FLW) workshop series is to develop strategic action steps necessary to move the Kansas City region forward on FLW reduction. These action steps will form the core of a regional Food Waste Action Plan.
Because of the role your business or organization plays in the region’s food system, we need your voice at the table. Please join us for this virtual workshop series as you are able. You make a difference and your participation is important!
